Melancholia was not my favourite effort by the masterful Lars Von Trier. The film, however, was visually stunning, largely due to the presence of Kirsten Dunst. I have long been obsessed with Ms.Dunst in every measure imaginable; personal appearance, wardrobe, acting ability, chosen roles, past lovers... you name it. So rather than focus on the many ways in which Melancholia failed to meet my expectations, I have chosen to take a look at the two roles that define my obsession with Kristen Dunst; Marie Antoinette and Lux Lisbon.
