Under Siege

I am many things (student, weirdo, shopaholic, insomniac, awkwardly lanky) but a history buff is certainly not one of them. I knew absolutely nothing of the Siege of Leningrad before going to Russia and visiting a museum dedicated to it. In this haunting but rather incredible film, artist Sergey Larenkov juxtaposes modern day St Petersburg against what was then called Leningrad during the Siege.
